I spent the better part of last week in Guadalupe, CA. I have always liked Guadalupe but I never knew the town intimately before. If you haven’t been I suggest you go…but you need to slow down and take in the history, culture, and hospitality. Guadalupe is small town America and although the conversations in town are dominated by the Spanish language, the cultural heritage of the town is richer than it is on the surface. I’ve traveled much of this world and the residents of Guadalupe are some of the most generous I’ve ever met.

So while most of us think of Guadalupe as the town that time forgot, I know I’ll never forget Guadalupe.

Thanks to all my new friends.
